I consider myself a 'Renaissance Woman', moving through-out life experiencing new places, people, technologies and philosophies. Bringing this attitude to my writing has allowed me to successfully cover subjects ranging from bleeding edge technology to sustainable agricultural practices.
A native of Pennsylvania, after twenty years living in southern California I returned home in 2000 when I purchased a Civil War era farm in Cumberland county. During my years out west, I had the opportunity to be a cowgirl on a 10,000 acre cattle operation, a chef in a famous hot springs restaurant, an elementary school teacher, a petroleum geologist on offshore oil rigs and a computer geek pioneering the use of the Internet to network international corporations around the globe. I have owned two successful businesses--a catering company and a computer reseller & repair shop. Throughout all of my adventures there was always the common denominator of writing.
My writing projects have included numerous magazine and professional journal articles, book projects, training manuals and quality assurance documentation, corporate communications, white papers and nonprofit materials.
